The Hotel Dralha*** is located in Olakha, a scenic five minutes drive from the city centre and just off the main highway that serves as a gateway into the beautiful Thimphu valley. 

The facade of the hotel faces the glorious 177-foot Buddha Dordenma statue, the largest of its kind, built to honour the 60th birth anniversary of His Majesty The Fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. Additionally, a 5-minute drive from the hotel is where the magnificent Simtokha Dzong is located. Built in 1629, the fortress is the first of its kind in the kingdom and is among the most impressive historical monuments in Bhutan. 

Hotel Dralha consists of 20 hotel rooms, 12 serviced apartment units, a rooftop bar, a pure vegetarian restaurant, and an event hall.   • Changangkha Lhakhang, built in the 12th century as a fortress like temple and monastic school.
  • Buddha Dordema, or as it is called, Buddha point, featuring one of the largest seated Gautham Buddha and the surrounding popular picnic areas in the Phodrang Park. Great sceneries are assured.
